MSU Students- if you know any alumni in Chicago who might be interested, please spread the word...
Are you looking for a candidate to support? Strawdog Theatre Company is looking for talented people to round out the ensemble of our upcoming production of Old Town , an original musical by Brett Neveu. This is an unpaid performance internship, and perfect for people fresh out of school or new to the city who are looking to get their foot in the door of one of Chicago ’s oldest and most fantastic-to-work-at storefront institutions. We are looking for all ages and types to play supporters, aides, hotel staff, and media. Your work would include Choral singing and movement. Musical Theatre experience a plus but not necessary.
Dates of involvement are:
Sat Apr 12 and Sun Apr 13 from noon-5p
Tue Apr 15, Wed Apr 16, Thu Apr 17 from 7-11p
Sat Apr 19 from 10a-10p (sumptuous meals provided)
Sun Apr 20 from 12-10p (again, much lovely food and comeraderie…)
Tues Apr 22 – Friday Apr 25 – from 7-11p
Opening Night @ 7p on Sat Apr 26
Performance Schedule – generally speaking, Fri-Sun through March 29, with some Monday night industry night, and a couple of Thursdays performances as well.
Please contact Kyle Hamman with interest. kylehamman@strawdog.org. Email only please.
