So, a freestyle post. That’s a lot of freedom. The show is shaping up quite well, I feel. It’s such an interesting experience to be involved in something like this but still have the mindset of an observer. I know I talk (blog?) about that a lot, and it may be getting a little old, but really, it’s changing so much. What I mean is, that my ideas about ensemble and collaboration and educational theatre and people in general are expanding constantly. This is my first main stage experiment and it’s not quite what I thought it would be. I don’t know what I thought it would be actually, but I’m sure it was different than what we are experiencing with Stacy and this project.
I’d be a big fat liar if I said I wasn’t worried at all. Much like in my last post, I’m still a bit uncertain about the set itself. I think it’s a really sweet concept and I’m sure they wouldn’t have let us come this far with it if it wasn’t going to work, but the Ubercrew isn’t made up of the bulkiest kids, excluding (Geo-the-muscle, of course) and the pieces are pretty freaking huge. Comparably. So, that’s my only big worry right now. Like I said, it’s looking pretty good. I don’t have any sad or too funny stories, aw, other than I seem to have broken my ‘small injury’ streak. I can’t tell you how many band-aids Holly, (our dear stage manager) has had to give me. BUT, it’s been about a week or so since I’ve gone and hurt myself somehow.

I really don't have any meaningful or extra-credit-worthy feedback*... I just wanted to say...
Hell yes to the Flight of the Conchords reference.
*"What? What? What? What? What? You've got to be more constructive with your feedback!"
(See what I did there? :)
I can't wait to see the show-I am going opening night and I am so interested in seeing how it will come together. It was such a neat concept when it was explained at auditions and it seems like so much is bieng thrown at you-I know you will all be up to the challange. Break a leg cast of Triumph!!
